  It is proud moment that Professor Dr. Bharat Raj Singh, Director General, School of Management Sciences, Lucknow has been appointed as a member of the National Council, Council of Advancement Technology and Engineering Committee (CATE), and Mechanical Engineering Division Board by The Institution of Engineers (India). This appointment was made under the decision taken at the 728th Council Meeting of IEI held in Kolkata on December 22, 2024. Professor Singh is a renowned academician and engineer, recognized for his significant contributions to the field of Mechanical Engineering. Sharad Singh has congratulated him on his appointment.

PhD Viva Voce of Manoj Kr. Singh held on-16012025

  Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, a PhD scholar under the supervision of Professor (Dr.) Bharat Raj Singh, Director General, School of Management Sciences, Lucknow, successfully defended his dissertation on January 16, 2025. The examiners panel consisted of Prof. Sanjay from NIT, Jamshedpur; Prof. Sanjay Mishra from MMMUT, Gorakhpur; and Prof. Bharat Raj Singh, SMS, Lucknow. Manoj's presentation on "Design, Development, and Analysis by Bondgraph Simulation Technique for Comfort Ride on Vehicles" was found to be excellent. He has been recommended for the award of a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering for his research on the development of new lightweight transport vehicles suitable for rural roads, focusing on ride comfort through extensive work on tyre damping coefficient variance, apart from normal spring and hydraulic damper, to operate at speeds ranging from 25 km/h to 75 km/h with a maximum sprung mass displacement of 120 cm.
